MAY ALL MY PETS STAY TOGETHER IN THE SAME SUITE?
Yes, if they are together at home, we recommend them being boarded together; this allows a more secure feeling of comfort and safety For your pets.

Any amount of time, from 1 night to 30 + nights. We have daycare from 7:30 AM to 6 PM, Monday-Tuesday-Thursday-Friday
WE HAVE A FAMILY EMERGENCY AND DON'T KNOW HOW LONG WE'LL BE GONE?
No problem. We want to be first on the list when clients have an emergency. During the client’s trip, we will keep in contact so they can notify us of their return date/time.
DO YOU CHARGE DIFFERENTLY BASED ON THE SIZE OF DOG?
We are the same rate regardless of size of dog. We believe every dog has their own individual needs and that is based on personality, not size of dog. We believe those who charge a different rate depending on size of dog base their rates on the amount of real estate your dog occupies. Our dogs are not real estate.
DO YOU GIVE DISCOUNTS FOR MULTIPLE PETS?
We charge $31 for the first dog and $24 for the second in the same suite from the same family.*
*Must be of the same family in the same suite.
HOW MUCH TIME WILL MY DOG BE OUT OF THEIR SUITE?
We begin running dogs at 6:30 AM for breakfast, then rotate dogs outside continually until noon
12 Noon to 2 PM is their downtime/quiet time.
2 PM to 5 PM is rotation of playtime.
5 PM, they go back into their suite, letting one suite out at a time to go potty. When they come back in dinner is served to them. When finished, we go back to dog number one, see if they want to go out again, then tuck in for the night.
WHERE DOES MY DOG GO TO THE BATHROOM?
OUTSIDE, very few dogs ever make a mistake in their suites.
IF A DOG IS AGGRESSIVE TOWARDS OTHER DOGS, DOES HE GET PLAYTIME?
Personality profiling is performed for each dog upon arrival. We pair sociable dogs up for their playtime. If a guest does not like other dogs, he/she will have individual playtime. If your dog is aggressive towards people, he/she cannot be boarded in our facility.
CAN MY PET HAVE HIS/HER FAVORITE TOYS WHILE BOARDING?
Yes, parents need to make sure toys are marked with permanent ink marker with your last name. Pets’ toys stay with them in their suites and we do our best to return all toys. Occasionally, a toy may be destroyed during playtime or cleaning.
MAY I BRING MY DOG'S BEDDING?
We will provide comfortable bedding. Dog’s home bed is not allowed in the kennel. Small blankets which may easily be washed & dried may be brought to the kennel. You may also bring a family member t-shirt or other piece of clothing which has the family members scent.
In a new environment, dogs can get nervous and may destroy their beds brought from home. We provide comfortable and sanitary bedding, including Kuranda beds for all our guests. If we see a dog push the bedding to the
side, we will remove the bed from the suite allowing more room in the suite.
Please do not bring dog’s bed, as we then need to store it in our storage area. The bed will not be used in the suite. We will assure comfortable bedding for your dog.
MY DOG IS ON A SPECIAL DIET. MAY I BRING IN HIS/HER OWN FOOD?
We recommend bringing your pet’s own food. Many pets get upset tummies if not on their regular diets. If no food is provided we feed Lamb & Rice. Lamb is the one protein almost all dogs digest well.
MY PET IS DIABETIC AND REQUIRES SHOTS?
We administer shots and medications, with written directions from the parents. We provide this service at no additional fee.
IS YOUR PET CARE CENTER AIR-CONDITIONED?
Yes, our kennel is fully air-conditioned. We have three commercial HVAC systems, two in the main portion of the kennel where the dogs are housed and one in the office.
IS THERE AN OVERNIGHT STAFF?
We do not have an overnight staff. We live on premise and have surveillance cameras in our home. We keep an eye on the dogs and if we see any commotion, nonrest, we run down to the kennel to check on the guest. That’s where our golf cart comes in handy.
CAN YOU FEED MY DOG MORE THAN TWO TIMES A DAY?
Although we do recommend a routine schedule of meal times and limit feedings to twice per day, we can feed your pet by following the instructions provided on the boarding agreement form.
DO YOU BOARD UN-SPAYED/UN-NEUTERED DOGS?
If your dog is an un-spayed/un-neutered pet, we can accommodate by isolating him/her from other dogs. He/she will still get play time, but alone with a staff member.
DO YOU BOARD ALL BREEDS?
We do not judge dogs on the misconception of breed characteristics, but rather on personality of the dog. We board any canine breed unless the particular dog is known to be aggressive toward people. We do not socialize certain dog breeds with other breeds.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT THE FIRST TIME MY PET IS BOARDED?
Your pet will adjust quickly to our boarding facility, and routines. Feeding, cleansing, and exercise are all scheduled events that bring order and structure to the boarding environment. You can do a lot to help prepare your pet for this environment in the days before your pet is to be boarded.
Establish (or reinforce) a routine schedule of meal times and limit feedings to twice per day. We feed in the morning, and again in the evening.
We quiet the kennel down after dinner, playing soft jazz music throughout the evening to give the pet’s adequate rest and comfort.
It's best if your evening schedule in the week prior to boarding is stable and consistent. Getting the pet(s) into a comfortable “wind down” to their day by 8 PM or 9 PM will enable them to adjust quickly to the kennel schedule when boarded.
MAY A FAMILY MEMBER OR I VISIT MY DOG WHILE BOARDING?
Changing the environment and the daily routine for your pet can be stressful. The visit can trigger more stress since your pet will think that you or the family member is there to take him/her home. This is why we do not recommend visiting your pets while staying with us.
CAN MY PET CATCH A DISEASE BY BEING KENNELED WITH OTHER PETS?
Your pet can be exposed to disease when kenneled with other animals. This is the reason for requiring up to date vaccinations, directly from the veterinarians. This lowers the risk, ensuring a healthy population of boarded guests. Additionally, high sanitation standards and quality living conditions are vitally important to ensuring an absence of disease.
Our modern sanitation procedures, air flow system, required vaccinations, kennel suites construction all help to create a healthy, safe and secure environment for guest when they are in our care.
You may have heard “horror stories” of poor treatment and conditions at kennels in the past. These are the same reasons why for years, since we discovered we were blessed with four legged kids instead of two, we’ve dreamed of owning our own boarding facility. We have taken great pains to ensure that our facility provides a first-class, highly sanitary environment that dispels any fears you might have about boarding your pets with us.
We strongly suggest a tour of any facility that you might consider before making a boarding selection. Here’s what to look for:
WHAT ARE YOUR REQUIRED VACCINATIONS?
To protect your pet against common diseases we require the following vaccinations:
RABIES: Rabies is probably the best known and most feared animal disease. This virus attacks the brain and is most often fatal. It is transmitted to man primarily through the bite of an infected animal. If a pet is due for rabies or if this is the first vaccine, the animal is not considered fully immunized for 29 days.
DHLPP: If confirming diagnosis and therapy are the pitfalls of distemper, prevention is the easy part. The “distemper shot” is the basic immunization for dogs.
BORDATELLA (CANINE COUGH): This is a contagious disease of the upper respiratory tract, which includes the trachea (windpipe) and bronchi (large air passages of the lungs). The most common sign of canine cough is harsh, dry cough that is often followed by gagging and coughing up foamy mucus. Otherwise, the patient appears alert and generally healthy. The disease spreads rapidly from one dog to another but it does not affect people. Notify the Doctor if any of the following occurs: Your dog’s cough persists or worsens. Your dog loses weight. Classically, dogs get infected when they are kept in a crowded situation with poor air circulation but lots of warm air. There are about 30 strains of canine cough. We have a sophisticated air exchange system which we run a couple times a day to assure proper air quality.
INFLUENZA: Canine influenza, or canine flu, is an emerging respiratory tract disease that is similar to, or mimics, bordetella but much more dangerous. A highly contagious virus that was identified in Florida in 2005 when several severe respiratory outbreaks occurred in racing greyhounds is believed to be the initial cause of canine influenza. The disease appears to occur most frequently in high-density dog populations: dogs who are housed with numerous other dogs in places such as shelters, breeding kennels, pet stores, rescue groups, dog shows, and greyhound tracks. The disease is thought to have originated as a mutation of a strain of influenza that affects horses and is not related to typical human influenza strains or the avian flu. We require parents to visit with their vet regarding the Canine Influenza, letting their vets know the dog will be boarded and having the vet make the decision regarding this vaccination.
WHY IS MY PET SO THIRSTY WHEN HE/SHE COMES HOME?
Pets will frequently become very thirsty from the excitement and stress of seeing their loved ones again when they’re picked up. It’s natural and you should expect your pet a bit dehydrated from all the excitement once you get them home.
While in our care, pets are monitored carefully for their consumption of fresh water, which is continuously checked and refreshed throughout the day. And, just like the excitement of coming home, when they first are checked-in and settled in their suite, they will tend to become very thirsty. We watch this carefully, and are sure to provide plenty of fresh water upon check-in to get the pet fully hydrated. After the first 30 minutes or so, they settle into the new routine, get comfortable, and establish regular eating and drinking habits.
Note: We must have vet records prior to you making an appointment. Please fill out form below as well as our boarding agreement above. Thank you.
